National Cochlear Implant Programme
Beaumont Hospital, incorporating St. Joseph’s Hospital, Raheny, Dublin is a major teaching hospital providing an important Emergency Medicine and Trauma service together with National and Regional services in a number of specialties. The hospital is one of the eight designated centres for the development of cancer services in Ireland. The hospital employs approximately 3,000 staff and has a complement of 820 beds.
Since 1995 the National Cochlear Implant Programme based at Beaumont Hospital has been high quality care for adults and children with severe to profound hearing loss. The National Cochlear Implant Programme has been funded in the HSE 2014 National Service Plan to commence bilateral cochlear implantation for children in line with best international practice. Beaumont Hospital is looking to employ committed, team orientated individuals to join the existing experienced team of professionals delivering the current programmes. Therefore, applications are invited for the following permanent posts:
